About these terms

These terms apply to the Cookie Doe website at cookiedoe.shop and cookie orders requested through our WhatsApp ordering process. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read the privacy policy to understand how your details are used.

Our cookies

We offer three handmade cookies, each with a stated weight of 70 g: Red Velvet with white chocolate, Classic with dark chocolate and brown butter, and Peanut Blend with peanut butter and milk chocolate. Handmade products can vary in shape, colour and appearance. Photographs are illustrative.

Prices and payments

Prices are in Indian rupees: Red Velvet is ₹95 per cookie; Classic and Peanut Blend are ₹75 each. The website subtotal covers cookies only. Before you pay, the bakery confirms stock, delivery charges, any applicable taxes, the final amount and available payment methods in WhatsApp. We do not collect card details or process payments on this website. Please pay only using the details confirmed by the bakery.

The confirmed price applies to your accepted order. If an availability or pricing error is found before acceptance, we will explain the change and ask you to confirm before proceeding. We will not substitute products or add charges without your agreement.

How an order is confirmed

Adding cookies to your bag or opening WhatsApp does not place a confirmed order. The website prepares an order message with your selections, contact details and delivery address. You must send that message, and the bakery must confirm availability and acceptance. Your bag clears when you open WhatsApp, even if you decide not to send the message. You can add the cookies again whenever you wish.

Delivery and collection

Delivery coverage, delivery or collection timing, delivery fees and any minimum order requirement are confirmed individually in WhatsApp before payment. There is no automatic promise of nationwide delivery, free delivery or a specific arrival date. Please provide a complete address, a correct PIN code and a reachable phone number. A location pin is optional and does not replace your written address.

If you need to change your address or delivery time, contact us promptly. We will confirm whether the change is possible and explain any additional delivery cost before you agree to it. If delivery cannot be completed because the address is incorrect or nobody is available, we will contact you to discuss another attempt; any reasonable redelivery cost will be explained first.

Cancellations

Orders are final once the bakery confirms them. Customer-requested cancellations, changes of mind, accidental selections and changes of personal plans do not qualify for a refund after confirmation. Please review the products, quantities, address and final amount before confirming or paying.

If Cookie Doe cannot fulfil or deliver an accepted order because of an issue on our side, we will notify you and refund the amount paid for the unfulfilled order. We will not require you to accept a replacement or store credit instead of an eligible refund.

Incorrect or damaged orders

For an incorrect product or a materially damaged order, record a continuous unboxing video showing the sealed package, opening of the package, and the condition and contents inside. Send the recording and your order details to us on WhatsApp as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of delivery, so we can investigate while the evidence is available. The recording is required for our routine incorrect/damaged-order refund assessment.

Broken or crumbled cookies alone do not qualify for a refund. Minor breakage in transit and normal handmade differences are not treated as material damage when the cookies remain otherwise correct, safe and suitable to eat. This exclusion does not cover contamination, unsafe food, or an incorrect product.

We will review the recording and order details and explain the outcome. Where a claim qualifies, we will refund the affected products and any applicable delivery charge attributable to the issue, or offer a replacement if you prefer. Please do not send perishable food back without contacting us first.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are initiated within seven business days of approval, normally through the original payment method. Your bank or payment service may take additional time to display the credit. We will confirm the amount and refund reference in WhatsApp. Nothing in these terms removes a remedy required by applicable law, including where other reliable evidence establishes an eligible claim.

Ingredients, allergens and storage

Red Velvet and Classic contain milk ingredients; Peanut Blend contains peanuts and milk ingredients. Products may contain other allergens or experience cross-contact in a shared kitchen. Ask us for the complete ingredients and allergen information before ordering, including information about wheat/gluten, eggs, soy and other nuts. We do not promise an allergen-free product or kitchen.

Follow the storage and use-by instructions supplied by the bakery or on the packaging. Keep cookies protected from heat, moisture and contamination. Do not eat a product that appears unsafe; contact us with the order details and evidence of the concern.

Questions and complaints

Include your order date and the phone number used for the order so we can locate the conversation. WhatsApp is the preferred channel for private order and delivery details; please avoid posting personal information in public Instagram comments.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them promptly, within one month. We may ask for order details and relevant evidence to assess the issue. These terms are governed by the laws of India; applicable consumer rights and access to competent consumer authorities are preserved.

Website use and updates

Please use the website lawfully and provide accurate details. We may update products, prices and these terms for future orders. The terms and price confirmed for an accepted order are not changed retrospectively. The effective date appears at the top of this page.
