Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Cookie Doe uses information when you visit cookiedoe.shop or request an order through WhatsApp. Cookie Doe is responsible for the order information it receives and uses. Our hosting and messaging providers process information under their own policies.
Information you provide
The order form asks for your name, phone number, delivery address, city, state and PIN code. Email and extra address details are optional. If you choose Use current location and permit location access, your browser supplies a location pin and an accuracy estimate. We use these details to respond to your request, confirm the order, arrange delivery and resolve order issues.
Your browser and saved bag
Your cookie selections and quantities are saved in local storage in the browser on your device so your bag can survive page changes and return visits. The website does not create an account or store the customer/address form or location pin in our website database or local storage. Your browser or password manager may separately remember form details through its own autofill settings.
Your saved bag clears when you open the WhatsApp order link. You can also clear it using the button below or your browser’s site-data settings. Clearing site data does not delete WhatsApp messages, bakery order records or your browser’s separately saved autofill information.
WhatsApp and Maps
When you press Order now on WhatsApp, the selected cookies, quantities, prices, name, phone number, address, optional email and any selected location pin are included in the WhatsApp link. Those details are transmitted to WhatsApp when the link opens, before you choose whether to send the prepared message. The bakery receives the request when you send it. The prepared link may also appear in your browser history; avoid sharing it publicly.
WhatsApp is provided by Meta and processes data under its privacy policy. A selected location pin is included as a Google Maps link. Opening Check pin on Maps takes you to Google Maps and shares the pin with that service under Google’s privacy policy. You can remove the pin and enter your address manually instead.
Hosting and technical data
The website is prepared for hosting on Vercel. When you access the hosted website, Vercel may process your IP address, request time, requested URLs, browser/device information and technical logs to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose errors. See Vercel’s privacy policy. This site does not currently add advertising trackers or a marketing analytics service.
Sharing order information
We share information only as needed to fulfil the order: for example, your name, phone number, delivery address and any chosen location pin with the person handling delivery, and necessary payment information with the payment provider agreed in WhatsApp. We may disclose information where required by law or to address fraud or protect legal rights. We do not sell your personal information or add you to marketing lists through this order form.
Retention and security
Cookie selections stay in your browser until you clear them or open WhatsApp. Order conversations and business records are retained only as needed for fulfilment, customer support, disputes and applicable accounting or legal requirements. Provider-managed logs, messages and backups follow the relevant provider’s retention rules. Please do not send passwords, full card details or other unnecessary sensitive information in the order form or chat.
Your choices and requests
You can leave the email field blank, decline location access, remove a pin, clear your saved bag or stop before opening WhatsApp. Contact us to ask about your order information, correct inaccurate details or request deletion of information no longer needed. We may need to verify your request and retain information required for an outstanding order or legal obligation. Requests concerning WhatsApp, Google or Vercel account data should also be directed to the relevant provider.
Children and policy changes
Orders should be placed by an adult or with a parent or guardian’s permission. We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information. We may update this policy as the website or ordering process changes; the effective date at the top identifies the current version.

Include your order date and the phone number used for the order so we can locate the conversation. WhatsApp is the preferred channel for private order and delivery details; please avoid posting personal information in public Instagram comments.
We acknowledge privacy complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month, subject to the information needed to assess your request and applicable law.
